Oscar Wilde's 'Trivial Comedy for Serious People' is considered the funniest in the English Language.
Ernest loves Gwendolen. Cecily loves Ernest. What could possibly go wrong?
Double lives and double standards abound in this masterpiece of satirical wisdom where Jack and Algernon, two young men looking for escape from social obligations, pretend to be something that they are not... Earnest.
Things start to go awry when they both practice their deceptions at Cecily's country house at the same time and the two young ladies fear themselves rivals for the hand of one man. To thwart matters further, the formidable Lady Bracknell won't even contemplate Gwendolen marrying someone who was discovered as an infant at a railway station cloakroom in a handbag!"

What can I say about this play, I laughed my socks off all the way through, a dream to photograph, the performances are spot on, stage design is brilliant!

It's on at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast until 7th July, students get 2 for 1 tickets on Wednesdays. Go and see it, you won't be disappointed!!

The Civilisation Game

"Guy and Roisin are settling down to start a family, right now in fact, on their first night in leafy suburbia when young Robbie from the nearby estate bursts in to shatter the perfect mood, the perfect moment and any chance of them starting the perfect life. They’ve got him cornered and they could call the police but what’s the point if the kid’ll just get a slapped wrist? Especially when new neighbours Peter and Amanda land in on them with much more entertaining ideas of criminal justice.
So the burglar’s going nowhere and for one night only they can do what they like with him.
“A wee touch of revenge is good for the soul.”
The Civilisation Game is Tim Loane’s new chaotic comedy that explodes a few suburban myths as enigmatic burglar Robbie unleashes his own private riot on a perfect world in a very tasteful kitchen."

Another cracker from The Lyric, very much enjoyed this production, it's sometimes hard to concentrate and get the shots when you are giggling so much!
